Got one question tho. A human brain can't invent anything truly new. We recombine known concepts and ideas in new arrangements, but the elements of those arrangements are all known concepts.
How did he come up with this simulation, if he had never truly seen anything? Where did the elements come from?

You could theoretically argue that the boltzmann brain uses the idea that human brains can't invent anything truly new as a firewall of sorts against self-recognition of it's true state.
